The Sereque, as it is known in Mexico, commonly known as agouti [ah GOO tee], is a medium-sized mammal with a habitat that ranges from from Mexico to South America and reminds of different animals. Some might think is a strange-looking pig, a large guinea pig, or that it’s even a relative of the squirrel. But this cute little animal actually belongs to the family of rodents.
