Restaurant Gasten & Galionen resides in a house built in the 1600's, which was once home to Friedrich Kuhlau, composer of the opera Elverhøj. Today, the place is known as a "steak and lobster" restaurant making their own specialties. Shellfish is always on the menu. Not only freshly caught lobster, but also oysters and mussels. And, juicy steaks straight from the grill. As always, you pay a little extra for the restaurant's in Nyhavn, but in the summer you can sit outdoors and enjoy the special atmosphere.
